A secretive species that has kept itself hidden for many years. Biologically, they seem to resemble mollusks with smooth and moist bodies that are cool to the touch. Their physical forms also seem to have the ability to squash and stretch to greater lengths when required. They cloak themselves in leaves found on the ground, gluing them in place with an adhesive mucus. By using their own magic, they’re able to preserve the freshness of the leaves so that they don’t become brittle. If the leaf cloak is damaged, they go into hiding until they can patch it back together.
They are not your most ideal pets, as they are known to cause chaos if it means getting a bite to eat. They are experts in detecting magic, and will prey on anything rich in magic with their leech-like mouths. They do seem to understand the benefits of having a semi-symbiotic relationship with Wilderfae. For the sake of protection and food, they may choose to play nice.
When magic sustenance is low, they have the ability to put themselves into a statis mode and hibernate deep underground. For how long they are able to live like this is unknown to Wilderfae.
