Domesticated Animals

This section merges both mounts and pets as well as livestock species that Wilderfae care for. You must acquire the valid mount/pet item in order to draw your character with their animal, but livestock species can be designed and drawn for free. 

  • RINDRUNNER

    PET

    These very tiny lizards evade predators and catch their prey by disguising themselves as Bebenana or other fruit with their foldable skin. These unique critters are popular companion animals.

  • BARKWORM

    PET

    These creatures have a strong appetite of leaves and magic energy, so they are naturally drawn to Wilderfae! Their tail appendages emit a calming scent, making them great therapy pets!

  • BEEBUL

    MOUNT

    A hardy, terrestrial mount that makes up for its lack of agility for durability and high stamina. They are popular mounts among merchants for their ability to carry cargo. Males and females also differ in coloration!

    MOUNT

    These intelligent, tree-climbing omnivores are fast and well-loved by Wilderfae. Their agility makes them excellent mounts for work and sport. Their opposable thumbs get them up to no good though.

    These furry frog-like creatures are well-known for providing Wilderfae with wool and decimating pests. In exchange, they build their nests safely near Wilderfae territory.

    These animals have adopted a semi-aquatic lifestyle and are easy to care for on ranches due to their docile natures. They provide meat, milk, and even leather, if you don’t mind the fishy texture.

Wild Animals

These are creatures that inhabit the Realmwood Forest alongside the Wilderfae. They cannot be depicted as pets or mounts. They should be left out of Wilderfae communities!

  • WANDERWAY

    COHABITANT

    These large deer choose to exist in solitude, but it is often said that witnessing a herd moving through a forest could be an omen of coming change. The orb floating above their heads is their eye. But it is advised not to stare into the light for too long, for fear that you may go blind...

  • FALSE FOUNTS

    PREDATOR

    These omnivorous badger-like creatures prey on small animals, insects, and even Wilderfae by pretending to be an Arcane Fount. Its nests are covered in foliage, and it can manipulate light to create the illusion of false Sporites dancing around a magic source. 

  • MUTEWING

    PREDATOR

    Tales are told to young grubs to avoid venturing out at night for fear of the Mutewing. These large, silent predators are cunning, nocturnal hunters, but will only hunt as much as they need. The small shimmering accents on their face and neck glow during a threat display.

  • LEYCHES

    PEST

    These common pests are the bane of Wilderfae agriculture. Their voracious appetites allow them to eat just anything with the help of their acidic mucus. If left unchecked, they can also tear through shroom planks and wood, potentially destroying buildings and walls.

Plants & Fungi

These are common plants and fungi found within the Realmwood Forest, each with their own specific uses to Wilderfae culture.

  • FAEBLOOM

    FLOWER

    These flowers can be found throughout the Realmwood Forest carrying the Iridiseeds used for reproduction. They close their blossom to protect said seeds during the day, but bloom fully at night.

  • SPORITE TOWER

    FUNGI

    These tall mushroom towers are created by Wilderfae magic and are home to Sporites. They are strong in magical energy and have defensive capabilities as well.

  • ICHOR TREE

    TREE

    Wilderfae often make their homes within Ichor trees after draining them of their oil-like sap. Even when hollowed, they are still structurally sound due to their durable wood.

● Flora

Produce

These are edible fruits and vegetables often farmed by Wilderfae and used in cooking or medicine!

  • BEBENANA

    FRUIT

    These tiny banana-like fruits grow on mid-sized trees in between their large leaves. They’re easy to miss, but they provide a burst of sweetness when bitten into. Be sure to check your Bebenana bunches to make sure there aren’t any Rindrunners!

  • ROOTPEA

    VEGETABLE

    These starchy root vegetables grow in pods underground. They come in a variety of greens, yellows, and even purple.

  • MAGE CABBAGE

    VEGETABLE

    A bitter, leafy vegetable grown on the sides of trees rather than on the ground. It's a common myth that eating this cabbage will enhance one’s magical proficiency, but it was just a tale meant to get children to eat their vegetables.
