These thick and slimy bugs are a common pest among Wilderfae culture. Their strange appearance and tendency to appear in large numbers can easily send chills up one’s spine. They can be easily kept away by utilizing scented oil repellents but if an army manages to break their way through a fence or wall, you may need to call a Defender to exterminate them.
Leyches typically aren’t eaten by Wilderfae since their slimy texture can be overwhelmingly off-putting. However, some brave souls have managed to cook up recipes that make it easier to digest. It’s still a last resort when it comes to being a food source though.
