False Fount

Wilderfae who wander off the beaten path are told to beware the False Fount. This badger-like creature has the ability to manipulate light and disguise themselves to resemble a patch of earth with Arcane runes and Sporites. Up close, it’s easy to tell that this is but an illusion, but it can be very convincing from far away.

Aside from being a natural predator to Wilderfae, they’re quite shy and try to avoid larger animals. They prefer to sleep in nests covered in foliage and will sometimes dig networks of burrows for ease of travel.

This creature is not a playable mount/pet! But can be drawn freely by members in submissions.
